At the age of ten, I did everything I could to convince my parents: I absolutely wanted to play the piano! But they thought it was just a passing whim, and that evening at home turned into a real battle. Fortunately, I won, and from that moment on, I never stopped playing, nor did I ever think of quitting.
My academic journey has been rich in experiences and valuable lessons, not only musically but also in terms of personal growth. I had the honor of meeting and studying with great pianists and musicians such as Enrico Belli, Gustav Kuhn, Antonio Ballista, L. F. Tagliavini, Pernarciso Masi, Benedetto Lupo, Andrea Lucchesini, and many others.
I gained solo experience with orchestras, performing concertos by Mozart, Bach, and Chopin, which have been among the most rewarding and intense experiences of my career. These experiences led me to record my first album, Games, featuring music by Mozart and Kurtág, under the Col Legno label, marking the pinnacle of my classical journey. This was followed by an album in duo with cellist Elena Antongirolami, with whom I had the pleasure of a beautiful concert experience and the recording of the album Rossiniana for the Dynamic label.
Despite these wonderful experiences, I felt that something was missing. I had an inner need to communicate something deeply personal, something that truly reflected who I am. The neoclassical language became my path. I gradually approached composition, initially becoming passionate about the piano works of Ludovico Einaudi, Max Richter, Joep Beving, Ólafur Arnalds, and Dustin O'Halloran, some of whose pieces I also recorded.
Finally, in 2022, I decided to write my first piece, Fragile, which was released under the Raighes Factory label. From that moment on, I continued writing, and while the pursuit of beauty in melodies requires tremendous energy, I feel a powerful drive to do so. I have written and released several singles with the modern classical music label Aemeralds, culminating in the creation and recording of my first neoclassical felt piano album, Acorn, under the Moderna Records label.
